Ingredient
Black Pepper Extract
Black pepper needs little introduction — the dried fruit of the Piper nigrum vine, ground over plates the world over and arguably the most widely used spice there is. In supplement formulation, though, it plays a quieter and more particular role: rather than whole peppercorns, a concentrated extract is used, included in small, deliberate amounts measured in milligrams rather than grinds. Its presence in a formula is a signal of intent — it tells you the recipe was thought through rather than thrown together, because nobody adds 5mg of anything by accident.
In Recovery Capsules, black pepper extract is there for one reason: it is the classic partner to turmeric. The pairing has deep roots in traditional kitchens and has become standard practice in modern formulation, where the two are routinely included together to support the formula as a whole. We attach no health claim to it, because none is authorised — its job is simply to accompany the turmeric extract beside it, the way a considered turmeric formula is expected to. Think of it as the supporting player whose absence you would notice: rarely the headline, always part of a well-made cast.
At 5mg per daily dose, alongside 250mg of turmeric extract, black pepper is the smallest inclusion in Recovery Capsules — and it still earns its own declared line on the label. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
