Ginger

Ginger is one of the most familiar roots in the world — a warming, aromatic rhizome that has moved seamlessly between the kitchen and traditional preparations for generations. Grated into stir-fries, steeped in teas, baked into biscuits and stirred through broths, it is a root most of us already know by taste long before we ever meet it on an ingredient label. That warmth and familiarity is precisely its character: bold, direct and unmistakably itself wherever it turns up, from a mug of tea to a supplement formula.

In Recovery Capsules, ginger is included on the basis of its long history of traditional use. As with turmeric, there is no authorised health claim behind it, and we will not invent one — traditional use is the honest description, so traditional use is the wording we stand behind. Ginger sits in the formula as the warming botanical alongside turmeric's golden depth, a pairing of two roots from the same plant family with centuries of shared kitchen history. The EFSA-authorised work, meanwhile, is carried by the nutrients around them: magnesium, vitamin C and vitamin D3, each with its own clearly defined, authorised role.

Recovery Capsules carry 200mg of ginger root per daily dose, working alongside the formula's other botanicals. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
