Vitamin D3

Vitamin D is the everyday sunshine vitamin — the one your skin makes when sunlight reaches it, and one of the trickier nutrients to come by through food alone. Dietary sources exist, oily fish and eggs among them, but for most of us sunshine has always done much of the work. In the UK, where bright days can be in short supply for long stretches of the year, it tends to be the nutrient people think about first when the days shorten, the light fades early and training quietly moves indoors for the season.

In this range, vitamin D carries an EFSA-authorised role: vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function and normal bones. For a recovery brand, that pairing is hard to improve on — muscles and bones are the two structures every session depends on, and maintenance is the quiet, unglamorous work that consistency is built from. As with every claim we use, this is the authorised wording, stated exactly as authorised: no inflation, no shortcuts, just the role the nutrient is recognised to play, written the way it was approved.

Recovery Capsules provide vitamin D as vitamin D3, at 20µg per daily dose — 400% of your NRV. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
